FIRST FLIGHT CONTEST

ABOUT CONTEST

On a hot July Sunday morning in 1936, a young Neil Armstrong experienced his first airplane flight in a Ford Tri-Motor. That unforgettable experience sparked a passion that would eventually take him to the Moon.

Now, in honor of that life-changing moment, the Armstrong Air & Space Museum is offering a chance for one lucky child to follow in Neil’s footsteps. Enter the “First Flight” Contest for an opportunity to win a free ride in a beautifully restored Ford Tri-Motor—an unforgettable introduction to the wonder of flight.
