President Eisenhower created NASA; President Nixon signed the plaque Apollo 11 left on the moon.  But, every president since World War II has played a role in America's exploration of space.  Reagan helped the nation mourn its loss. Obama grounded the aging shuttle fleet.  Kennedy delivered the speech that made America look to the stars...and the moon.
