Is photography allowed in the museum?
Visitors are strongly encouraged to take pictures of museum exhibitions for personal use with hand-held cameras. Please do not use a flash as many of the artifacts are sensitive to light. Photographs may not be used for publication without written consent. To use a tripod or standing lights, please obtain a permit from the admissions desk.

How long does it take to see the museum?
Visitors should budget at least 90 minutes to tour the museum and view the film about the moon landing.

Is Neil Armstrong sill alive?
Yes. He was born in 1930, which makes him 81 years old.

Does Neil Armstrong still live in the area?
Mr. Armstrong lives in southwestern Ohio, near Cincinnati. He has lived there since retiring from NASA.

Does Mr. Armstrong visit the museum?
Not often. Mr. Armstrong is a very private person and rarely makes public appearances.

How can I contact Mr. Armstrong?
NASA maintains e-mail addresses for the astronauts. Mr. Armstrong does NOT have a mail box at the museum.

Mr. Armstrong does not grant interviews, sign autographs, or participate in fundraisers.  Due to the volume of requests he receives, Mr. Armstrong can no longer send congratulatory letters to Eagle Scout candidates.
