The Armstrong Air and Space Museum is located just west of I-75 at exit 111 (Bellefontaine Street) in Wapakoneta, Ohio, approximately 60 miles north of Dayton, 90 miles south of Toledo, and 75 miles northwest of Columbus on US 33. Wapakoneta is centrally located between Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, and Indianapolis.
Pilots may fly into Auglaize County Neil Armstrong Airport (AXV) in New Knoxville and use the courtesy car to visit the museum. To reserve the car and make arrangements, please call (419) 753-2810.

The museum is owned by the State of Ohio, is part of the Ohio Historical Society’s statewide system of historic sites and museums, and is operated by the local Armstrong Air and Space Museum Association. Neil Armstrong has never been involved in the management of the museum nor benefited from it in any way.
